A petition has recently been lodged to rename the Edinburgh seaside locale of Newhaven Harbour to PURE-Haven Harbour. Such is the popularity of PURE Spa & Beauty since opening in the David Lloyd club in Newhaven Place, that many locals in the area believe the name change makes sense. A petition spokesperson recently explained, ‘PURE Spa & Beauty is the true ‘new haven’ for spa goers in Newhaven Harbour. By renaming the suburb PURE-Haven Harbour, it will make it self-explanatory for everyone in Edinburgh, visitors included, where they should go to find Edinburgh’s most relaxing spa & beauty haven.’
PURE Spa & Beauty has long been an Edinburgh institution having been providing spa & beauty treatments to men and women in multiple locations across the city for over 17 years. PURE operated spas in the Ocean Terminal shopping centre in Leith for over ten years before relocating to the David Lloyd Club in Newhaven Harbour in late 2017. The Newhaven Harbour location has proved to be massively popular, with clients taking advantage of the beautiful spa facilities including steam room, saunas, Japanese bath and relaxation area, in addition to the wonderful PURE treatments.
